Mercy Franklin Classic

Thank you for joining us ON FRANKLIN PUBLIC SQUARE, FRANKLIN, TN on Labor Day, September 2, 2024! The Mercy Franklin Classic is a 5k, 10k, 15k and 1k Kids Run. We start and finish on historic Franklin Square with the final sprint down Main Street. 

TIME, DATE AND A FEW RULES

Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. No exceptions. Your registration cost goes directly to Mercy Community Healthcare where it is used to provide crucial primary and mental health services. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate. If you are unable to participate due to injury or illness, withdraw your entry up to 14 days before the event for half of your registration cost. If you choose to transfer from one race distance to another, pay any difference in race fees when moving to a longer distance race.

We do not issue refunds if the event is cancelled due to circumstances out of our control such as: Acts of God, weather conditions, public health emergencies, acts of terrorism, etc.

By completing your registration, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

VOLUNTEER WITH US!

It takes a lot of hands to make the Mercy Franklin Classic a success! We are looking for volunteers for setup, tear down, course monitors, water station and kids zone. Individuals are welcome as well as groups in search of community volunteer hours or just want to meet new people and make new friends. Volunteer with Mercy!

Franklin Classic Weather Policy

The Franklin Classic is held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, the race may be delayed for race officials to consult with public safety officers. Race officials reserve the right to alter or canceled if severe weather persists. Mercy does not schedule rain dates. Any decision to cancel the race is done as the last resort and is made collectively with local risk management, police, fire & rescue and medical personnel. In this case, there will be NO REFUNDS as registrants accept any such risk of their entry fee when signing up. Please check the website, our Mercy Franklin Classic Facebook page or your email for any updates or cancellations.

Where do I pick up my shirt and bib?

Where can I find race results?

With our race timing software, results will be sent via email and text quickly after crossing the finish line.

When does registration end?

Participants can register online up until the race begins. Shirt availability is not guaranteed with late registration.

 
 
 
What is your refund policy?

There are no refunds for this event. The Mercy Franklin Classic raises funds for Mercy Community Healthcare, a community health center in Franklin, TN.

Can I change my registration to a different distance?

Yes, you can change your distance registration at Packet Pick-up on Saturday or Sunday.

 
What awards will be given?

Top awards will be recognized on the race stage at the end.

Top awards include:

Top 10k Male and Female

Top 5k Male and Female

Grand Masters male and Female for 10k and 5k

Finishers who placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in a gender and race category.

This includes primary care such as well and sick visits, behavioral and mental health services like counseling and psychiatry, chronic disease management and care coordination.
